Why I Read

 I read for pleasure. It's something that relaxes me, and helps me forget everything around me even if only for a short while. I love getting lost in a good book. Putting yourself in a characters shoes and thinking about what they might be like if you met them. How they would look or talk or even walk. Reading helps me create stories of my own in my head that I otherwise couldn't with movies that have everything already laid out in front of you. I get to put my own spin on things and think about a different way to write a piece. Reading has no limits or boundaries it's just you, your imagination and the pages in front of you and you can do whatever you please with it. It allows you to create your own little world that you can get lost in for an hour or two. I read to learn people's stories and to hear about new places that I've never been
